The Swedish Semla is a white wheat flour bun filled with whipped cream + almond paste in the center (marzipan)… often eaten as a pastry with coffee or tea.

The official Semla- day is Tuesday the 13th of February  this year “The Fat Tuesday” ( or as we say in Swedish Fettisdagen) Normally in Sweden its sold its sold  after new year until the fat Tuesday .

Oh So Swedish Arts & Crafts  will sell them in the shop on Brighton beach during the weekend Saturday 10th  & Sunday the 11th together with a small glass of Jokk Lingonberry juice. Price: Semla £2.50
