My name is Eva Hellqvist and I run the website www.ohsoswedish.com, which sells limited editions of Swedish and Nordic arts and crafts.
Personal: Born in Södertälje, Sweden but have been living most of my life in Stockholm. Since 2008 I’ve shared my life between Brighton and Stockholm.
Family & tribe: I have two grown-up daughters, a baby grandson, five brothers and sisters. Last but by no means least, my dear English boyfriend and partner.
Work: In Sweden I worked as a teacher for Swedish For Immigrants (SFI). In the UK I work as a Swedish tutor at Morley College, London and as a Supply Teacher.
Interests: Art & crafts, Retro & Recycled products, Gardening, Nordic Walking (
*I am a Nordic Walking Instructor), Cycling, Cooking and Reading.
Profile & signature: I always dwell in the present but enjoy items from the past, strive to find new paths, projects and ideas, value polite and kind people and try to be the same.
The joy of life is to see and be seen by others but also have the luxory of beeing solo, starring out in the woods and to contemplate the beauty of a new days adventures.
Future visions: To have my own OhSoSwedish workshop & shop, a cafe as a forum for creative people.
